Wedding, Honeymoon DONE!!!

July 13th, 2008 by guns in 2007 · No Comments

Hey all,

I will quickly give an update, Kate and I are now Married, our wedding was really lovely and we are so happy. It took place on the 19th June 2008 in Bridgend Cardiff. The morning of the wedding I wast really nervious until we started getting our glad rags on and Josh Bonis said “This is hard core” haha shortly we were at the church, greeting guests and this is where I had the longest 30 mins of my life waiting for Kate to turn up. But she turned up and she was beautiful, the service went without a hitch, we said all the right words, Kates sister Cheryl and friend Jamie did readings, we signed the register with our parents and everything went like a dream!!, shortly after we were outside waiting having photos, before escaping in the car to the reception, Kate had a sneaky milky way in her clutch bag for me!!!

Apon arriving at the reception we were greeted by red carpet, bucks fizz and a string quartet playing some lovely music, we mingled talking to our guests and haveing a great time, then photos occured before the line up and the wedding breakfast. The food was delicious, although Kate couldnt manage her desert so Lucky mr Bonis got TWO of them!!!

The speaches were really quite emotional and I dont think there was a dry eye in the house!!! Then we were all filiming the perfect day video and having a lovely time. The evening reception was lovely, a few people had drunk more than others and were on fire on the dance floor!!!

Our first dance was not as painful as I expected and we really enjoyed it!!! and before long the part was over and we were off to bed.

The honeymoon was amazing as well, we went to gatwick on the friday and although traffic was a drama, it was really nice just to get away and be in a hotel room relaxing, we ordered room service and chilled. The next day we flew to Millan and then got to lake como where we stayed in a lovely little hotel looking over the lake, we go the best hotel room in the hotel, it was a bischops room and we had a painted ceiling with cherubs on it!!!

We spent 6 days in lake como just relaxing and exploring the little towns around the lake, on the thursday we went to the city of como and explored a bit before catching the train to rome on the friday.

Rome was cool, although a bit hot at times it was like being in a clay over, but air con and some amazing sights helped with that, we saw all the highlights but were looking forward to going to dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik again was amazing, so clean, fresh and relaxing. We had the best room in our hotel with a balcony which you could have put 5 pool tables on!! We had a great time just relaxing, swimming, looking at the fishes!! On the thursday people began arriving for Jimmys wedding, we caught up with Quigger and Pratt, as well as Jimmy and my parents who were also attending the wedding. It was a lovely time. The wedding was really nice and went well, even Quiggers speach was good!!!

All too soon it was time to go home and before long we were having a cup of tea in the apartment not wanting to go to work the next day.

So thats a very quick synopsis of the wedding and honeymoon, but it was all we hoped for and we feel really happy to have shared our big day with so many of our closest family and friends.

There are loads of photos on Facebook, add me as a friend if your not there already

Tim and Kate x

Rob the muss

On Wednesday Big Rob 14 came to the apartment for a cup of tea and a game on the Wii. Big Sexy as he is also known was very good at the shooting game and beat a few high scores. He had his cup of tea in the blue tea cup, because blue is for boys!!!

Butch as he is also known was then playing some great tennis, his forehand was only bettered by his back hand, hes such a loveable chap!!!

On the boxing it was evident that Robal as he is also known was too much weights not enough speedwork as he was knocked out in the 1st round.

Damn you Facebok

hey, i am in a rather somber mood as are most kiwis round the world. My gut wrenching night out in the millenium stadium on saturday was not a joyous one but i wont dwell on it. The lead up was fun, we drank beers and played video games, told stories and looked forward to the game…

I then fast forward about 3 hours and everyone was back in the flat, drinking soft drink, making toast and watching top gun… But even when Mavrick was super sonic i couldnt force a smile…

Morning came and a big fry up was made, then slowley the visitors left and the reality set in…

Now its monday and after surviving a day at work with minimal fuss I am starting to cheer up. Kate and I are off to Paris in 2 weeks and the world is looking like a much brighter place.

Pics from the Cardiff Weekend and Edinburgh are HERE

 Thats all for now…

Dubrovnic Holiday

June 24th, 2007 by guns in 2007 · No Comments

Kate and I have just returned from our lovely holiday in Dubrovnic Croatia. We left for London Gatwick on Thursday the 14th of June and began the long drive to our hotel. We arrived and checked in and the had an early night in prepration of our flight the next day. In the morning I sang happy birthday to kate before we left for the airport to check in. After check in I got Kate some new Sunglasses for her birthday present and I got some too (early present for me). We then were soon on the plane and on our way to Dubrovnic. The flight was delayed by about and hour but it wasnt to bad and before we knew it we were in the Air, then on the ground in Dubrovnic Airport. We then picked up our transfer and were at our Hotel before we knew it.

Apon arrival at our hotel Kate got another surprise as I had organised a cake and some flowers to be there for her. The cake was yummy, although the hotel seemed to get a very large cake which we couldnt eat, but we tried our best, it was yummy!!!!

We then has a little look around what was the lovely fishing village of Cavtat before having dinner at our hotel and making our way to bed.

The next few days we spend relaxing and swimming in the sea, looking at all the fish and enjoying the weather which was amazing. I seemed to take a liking to the local ice cream and began to eat them with glee.

On monday we caught the Bus to Dubrovnic and were under the impression that it took us directly to the old town which is where we wanted to go. Unfortunitly it didnt and we found ourselves at the port which was about 5km’s from our destination. We decided to walk in the super hot sun, up hill, to the old town, I should have got myself an ice cream for the journey but didnt and we were very hot and thirsty but the time we arrived. We wanted to get around the wall of the old town before it got to hot. We then made our way into the old town and started to walk the walls, in our guide book it advised us to go the opposite way to everyone else, which made us walk up a million steps instead of down them!!!!

We walked around the walls and took loads of cool pics, it was very hot and we were happy to get around them and into some aircon and a cool drink. The rest of the day we spend looking around the old town, it is very cool, although food was pricy. After we finished looking about we caught the boat back which was nice.

Spent lots of time relaxing and eating ice cream and more nice food for the rest of the week. On our last night we ate 2 entire lobster for dinner which was a super yummy was to finish our holiday in the sunshine. New Pics are HERE

Wii

June 4th, 2007 by guns in 2007 · No Comments

wiiTim and schmackos have been possessed by the nintendo wii and are suffering from tennis elbow   hahahaha….. I love the wii too! Ihaven’t bothered playing a computer game since the days of packman or space invaders, but as this could be used by a 2 yr old even i managed to work it out! unfortunately it has now been returned to its owner, but tim is searching the internet as I type…. he is preteneding he is only looking but I guarantee he’ll have ordered one in the next 10 minutes……

The mighty cheesballs visited cardiff this weekend… the boys managed to play muchos wii …… josh provided some tasty toffee pop treats to keep the energy levels up so they could be gods of rock on guitar heros “i’ll send an SOS to the world” again and again…..and again.

There was also ALOT of sport, some was good….some was bad!

Hello…..is it me your looking for?

May 26th, 2007 by guns in 2007 · No Comments

well its been a little while since i’ve updated this site so here brief summary of recent events.

In march I was forced to go and see the vagina monoluges with kate, kailey and ben (also there under protest!) i was sat next to an old lady who was about 90 and seemed well into it which i found quite disturbing, her husband who was 107 fell asleep so they left at the interval…lucky them. It was shit. enough said.

Easter weekend came and went, there was plenty of sunshine, kate and I went on a little trip through the brecon becons which was cool, and met up with friends in crickhowel where we had some good pub food. We went to the beach with J, damien and oscar the crazy dog who nearly got swept out to see and eaten by another gaint angry dog!  We also went to comerston lake with everyone and had a bbq with some dodgy disposable bbq’s it took 50 matches to lite each one….then they manged to burn right through to the ground but the marshmallows tasted good….after we scraped them off the grill hahahaha

went to london at the end of april to see the fella’s stayed with josh and went to thorpe park. the rides were cool but the best part of the day was watching quiggers NOT win any prizes from the carnies hahahahaha I on the other hand won a soft loveable eore for kate, which I then had to carry on the train back to cardiff looking like a gay.

last sat night kate and I were dancing on the ceiling at lionel ritchie in cardiff, it was awsome although he is VERY Cheeeesy, making several references to how the concert may go “all night long” hahahahaha  We went out on the sunday for kailey 30th had had supper yummy dinner i ate loads.

this weekend is a public holiday so we get monday off work hooray. our plans did include many out door activities but due to the shit weather we have so far been to the pub, played on the nintendo wii, which kate is better than me at, and watched some movies….i think this may be the theme of the weekend as it is due to rain…..alot. I might make make some scones to eat with my special supply of watties baked beans, there’s only a few precious cans left….ummmm i love them so.

In a couple of weeks we’re off to croatia for a week of sun and culture and fun and lots of food and beer, so there’ll be lots of pictures of old buildings hahahahaha
